It is all too easy to have an "environmental policy" and back it up with claims of separating the office scrap paper into special bins and buying a bicycle rack.
The fact is making real inroads to your environmental impact is a philosophy, not just a policy.

Since we think for a living we don't have large pieces of industrial equipment that we can modernise or adjust to show improvements. In fact the biggest polluter at times may well be what comes out the rear of our VU:COW in the paddock outside. There is, however, one area where the decisions we make can have a considerable impact and that is the face to face environments we build. Traditionally exhibition and event solutions involve a throw away "Stand" which is used once or twice and then committed to waste. Its all very well making them out of recycled materials but if they go to landfill soon after, its not what we'd class as extending the life of the product. That’s why, where possible we use Nimlok modular based construction. The components are recyclable at end of life, but crucially that lifespan is many years as the system can be reconfigured into different designs almost infinitely - just like a giant construction kit. As an independent demonstration of the greenness of Nimloks solutions they are accredited with ISO14001 details of which can be viewed here As for the rest of VU's business;
