So how do you exploit the power of e-shot? There are so many factors it becomes mind-numbing. This minefield is due principally to spamming and virus transmission. The overcautious use of spam filters in business servers now often stop even legitimate attachments getting through to the intended recipient. Poorly written subject lines that do not motivate recipients will mean your email is not opened. A lack of engagement upon opening will mean it is closed and junked- or worse you are reported as spam. Content that is treated as an attachment can be stripped away by filters so your potential customer just gets a blank email. If they can't easily find where to click through or aren't motivated to by your layout - you will not get a response. If your newsletter has a single or multiple articles in their entirety, then don't expect them to click. You haven't given them any reason. If you are sending a promotional email and you don't include a deadline for the offer, or convey a discount, special offer, limited supply, etc., few people are probably going to take action.
